I am an honour graduate. I held various training posts in England, Scotland and Wales. I passed PLAB of London and MCCEE of Canada. I passed United States Medical Licensing Exams, ECFMG, USA and Federation License Exam Pennsylvania, USA.
I completed my Obstetrics and Gynaecology Training in Great Britain. I obtained Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London. I practised as a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Whipps Cross Hospital, London. This concluded 14 years experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in Great Britain.
In 1995 I was invited to bring my experience to Victoria, Australia. The Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists admitted me as a Fellow to the College. I practice as Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist offering my services in the public and private sector. My public appointment is at Box Hill Hospital, a Monash University Teaching Hospital.
I have extensive experience in gynaecologic surgery for urinary incontinence and various types of Slings. Currently I use TVT, Spark, Monarc and Safyre Slings depending on patient needs. Pelvic Floor construction and repair of vaginal and uterine prolapse are major interest.
I participate in running the urodynamic and video-cysto-urethrogram clinic to investigate incontinence and prolapse at Box Hill Hospital. These studies should be made available for every patient who requires incontinence or prolapse surgery.
I published studies on vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy early discharge from hospital.
I have special interests in removal of very large fibroids without removing the uterus.
I have special experience in management of pelvic pain a common trouble with many causes.
I participate in running the dysplasia and colposcopy clinic at Box Hill Hospital.
I have long and specialized experience in pre-pregnancy counseling, genetic counseling, fetal monitoring, management of high risk pregnancy, normal and operative birth.
